Since 1886, The Saturday Club has gathered women in a shared pursuit of learning, friendship, and service - a tradition rooted in purpose and carried forward with grace. Saturday by the Sea honors that legacy and the meaningful pause that accompanies the summer months.

As the Club breaks for the summer season each year, light this candle as a reminder that rest is not retreat, but preparation - a season to recharge, reflect, and return ready for the work and service that lie ahead.

The Scent:

Subtle notes of cardamom and orange peel lend to the airy and breezy vibe of this candle. Heart notes of shimmering, mineral-rich sea salt provide a clean freshness, while base notes of light musk and amber add sophistication.

Approximately 45-55h hours

The Best Part:

About The Saturday Club

Founded in 1886, The Saturday Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization of volunteer women located in downtown Wayne, PA, the heart of Philadelphia’s Main Line. They fulfill their mission – to improve the lives of women, children and families in the greater Philadelphia region – through financial contributions and volunteer service hours in partnership with other local organizations. Members of The Saturday Club regularly organize and facilitate community service projects, donation drives, community outreach programs and fundraisers throughout the club year.

One of the oldest women’s clubs nationwide, The Saturday Club has a rich history of commitment to the surrounding community throughout the years, including historical efforts to campaign legal protections to women and children, contributing to service-based community efforts during both wartime and peace, championing education and literacy and empowering women through engagement with the arts and sciences. Today, members of The Saturday Club continue to be leaders in community outreach and civic issues in the Philadelphia region, with a focus on fundraising and community service efforts.
